Local #701 held official elections for officers in December of 2001. The names above are the newly elected officers-who will maintain their positions for no more than 3 years.

There is a level of change in Local 701. The past officers and contributors did a wonderful job of representing the bargaining unit. But, we (the BU) would be fooling ourselves if we thought the new officers would run things the same way. Due to different people (ideas and relationships) things are different (good or bad - we don't know yet). Please respect these differences and try to realize that different people means different reactions, ideas and relationships. It is from this understanding that we will try and make this union work for you.
